更新: 問題はカーネル 5.3.0-24 にあるようですが、23 で起動すると正常に動作します。
今日から、Kubuntu 19.10 システムが Wi-Fi に接続しようとするとハングします。起動時に次のエラーが表示されます:

そしてこう言う

Intel ドライバーは 2 日前に更新されましたが、このエラーが発生した後、ドライバー マネージャーを開こうとすると機能せず、システムに関する情報を収集中というメッセージが表示されるだけです。
モジュールを削除して再度ロードしてみましたが、機能しません。これをインストールまたは修復する方法については、Web 上で何も見つかりませんでした。

パスワードなしのログインを有効にし、Wi-Fi への自動接続を無効にしていましたが、ネットワーク アプレットには使用可能なネットワークが表示されていましたが、いずれかのネットワークに接続をクリックして kwallet のパスワードを入力すると、システムがすぐにハングし、電源スイッチでシャットダウンする必要がありました。

同じ問題が発生しました。これまでの回避策として、カーネル バージョン 5.3.0-23-generic に戻しました。これで期待どおりに動作します。
