Oneiric でイーサネット接続を機能させようとしているのですが、ケーブルを差し込むと、接続と切断が永遠に繰り返されます。/var/syslog には次のように表示されます (何度も繰り返します)。

間違っていたら訂正してください。共有接続を使用しようとしているようです。これに関しては、oneiric にバグがあります。回避策とバグへのリンクについては、別の回答を参照してください。 他のコンピュータと共有されている有線接続が nm-applet で接続されてから切断される 回避策としては、接続を編集するときにIPv6を無視するように設定し、sudo killall dnsmasqを実行することです。

Ubuntu11.10 でアドホック ワイヤレス インターネット共有を提供しようとしたときにも同じことが起こりますが、
sudo killall dnsmasq最終的には解決しました。

LAN アイコンをクリックし、ネットワーク共有を開いて、ローカル エリア接続、診断の順にクリックして、ドライバーを診断します。
私の場合はこれで解決しました。これにより LAN アダプターがリセットされ、正常に機能するようになります。
