オンラインで問題の解決策が見つかりません:

Ubuntu 11.10 で Unity 2D を実行しており、compiz エフェクトを有効にしたいと考えています。compiz config 設定マネージャと Fusion-Icon をインストールしましたが、Fusion-Icon を起動しても何も起こりません。ターミナルから実行すると、「setting update 'command'」や「setting update 'next_key'」などの行で停止します。

パネルのホワイトリストはすでに「すべて」に設定されています。

私が見逃しているものを誰か知っていますか? よろしくお願いします!

試すディスプレックスFusion Icon と同じオプションを提供し、Unity/AppIndicators と連携します。

（また、compizを実行できる他のほとんどのデスクトップ環境でも動作します。）。

注意: 実行されない場合は、次の操作を試してください。

I installed the deb and tried starting DisPlex from the app menu but nothing
happened. So I ran "indicator-displex" from terminal. At some point it showed
"Value error: gconf key /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop has no value"
so I had to manually add a value and typed
gconftool-2 --set "/apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop" --type bool true
ran it again and got the same error for
/apps/gnome-screensaver/idle_activation_enabled,
so the same procedure and that was it.

おそらく、トップパネルに「通知領域」が表示されていないのでしょう。これを追加するには、トップパネルで Super+Alt キーを押しながら右クリックし、「通知領域」をダブルクリックします。
