Ubuntu 20.04 (16.04 から新しく更新) で R を更新しようとしています。
そこで、次の方法で R の以前のバージョンを削除します。
sudo apt-get purge r-base* r-recommended r-cran-*
sudo apt autoremove
その後、/etc/apt/sources.listを更新して適切なリポジトリを追加します。
deb https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu focal-cran40/
正しいキーは次のとおりです:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys E298A3A825C0D65DFD57CBB651716619E084DAB9
しかし、sources.list の更新中にエラーが発生します。
sudo apt-get update

職場ではプロキシを使用しています。そのため、プロキシ パラメータはシステム パラメータのネットワーク パラメータだけでなく、apt でも指定されています。(/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ の 80proxy ファイル)
この構成では、R 3.6 のみにアクセスできます。
