Kaliローリングリリースではバックポートをインストールする必要はありません。バックポートは一般的にDebian-stableベースのディストリビューションで使用されます。

バックポートは、次の Debian リリース (「テスト」と呼ばれます) から取得され、Debian 安定版での使用のために調整および再コンパイルされたパッケージです。パッケージは次の Debian リリースにも存在するため、次の Debian リリースがリリースされたら、安定版 + バックポート システムを簡単にアップグレードできます。(通常はセキュリティ更新のために、いくつかのケースでは、Debian 不安定版ディストリビューションからバックポートも作成されます。)
