お時間をいただきありがとうございます。Ubuntu 11.10から12.04にアップグレードしました。画面解像度が1366x786のままです。説明されているようにxrandrコマンドを使用して、より高い解像度を設定してみました。ここしかし、動作しません。

私の前の質問11.10 については長い間回答が得られていませんでしたが、これは 12.04 に関するものなので、この LTS バージョンで問題が解決されるかもしれないと予想して、この新しい質問を作成しました。

PS 興味深いのは、同じマシン上の WinXP では 1600x1200 までのモードを表示できることです。

実際のところ、モニターの物理的な解像度は 1366x768 です。Google の最初のリンクがこれを証明しています。http://budgetcomputer.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=396

LCD モニターの場合、物理的な解像度よりも高い解像度を設定することはまったく意味がありません。Win XP が「認識」するものはすべてバグです。実際、WinXP は LCD モニターが主流になる前に作成されました。
