duplicity と python-gi の両方のパッケージをインストールできない

duplicity と python-gi の両方のパッケージはリポジトリで利用できなくなりました。Ubuntu 16.04 LTS を使用しています。解決策を提案してくださる方はいらっしゃいますか? よろしくお願いします。

duplicity と python-gi はどちらも 16.04 リポジトリにあります。

sudo apt updateこの種のエラーは通常、apt データベースがまだ空であるため、初めて実行していない場合の新規インストールで発生します。
