最近、SSDを大容量のSSDに交換しました。クローンジラ古いディスクを新しいディスクにクローンしました。その後、GPartedライブ既存のパーティションのサイズを変更し、スワップ パーティションをディスクの末尾に移動します。また、Ubuntu 16.04 から 18.04 にアップデートしました。
上記の手順を正常に完了した後、起動時間が大幅に長くなった同様のスレッドをいくつか見つけ (下記にリンク)、そこで提案されていることを試してみました。ただし、起動時間はディスク変更前まで短縮されませんでした。

/etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume
これはもう見つからないUUIDを指しています。そのファイルを修正してスワップパーティションの正しいUUIDを指し示し、以下を実行します。
sudo update-initramfs -u
