覚えておいてくださいsshそしてsftp異なるプロトコルです。sftp通常、サーバーはファイル転送へのアクセスのみを許可し、ssh 経由のようにコマンドを実行するためのシェル アクセスは許可しません。
おそらく、ssh ではサーバーに接続できないと思います。代わりに sftp コマンドを試してください。
