問題の説明
新しいワイドスクリーン モニター (Dell Ultrasharp U4919DW) を購入し、分割画面モードで使用しています。片側には仕事用のノート PC が DP で接続され、もう片側にはプライベート用のノート PC (どちらも Lenovo ThinkPad) が USB-C で接続されています。モニターには USB ハブも内蔵されており、キーボードとマウスを接続しています。モニターにはノート PC 間で周辺機器を切り替える方法があり (1 つは USB-C 経由で接続し、もう 1 つは USB 3 経由で接続)、最初は機能するため、これは機能している (したがって正しく構成されている) と思います。ただし、仕事用のノート PC (Windows 10 を実行、これは期待どおりに機能) に切り替えてから、プライベート用のノート PC (Ubuntu を実行) に戻すと、キーボードもマウスも検出されません。
最新であるはずのドライバーを確認しました。ただし、正しいドライバーが使用されているかどうかはわかりません (付録を参照)。
の出力を確認したdmesg -wところ、デバイスは切断されているものの、再び接続されていないことがわかりました。
USB-C ケーブルをノートパソコンから抜いて再度差し込むと、USB ハブが再度検出され、再び動作します。
また、cat /dev/bus/usb/003/001ハブのバスがデバイスを再度検出します。
USB-C ケーブルを抜き差ししなくて済むようにしてほしいです。これは本当に面倒で、その機能を使うメリットが台無しになってしまいます :=)
この件についてご協力いただければ幸いです。さらにログや出力をお願いします :)
注目すべきは、ビデオとデータの両方が同じ USB-C ポート経由で実行されることです (ドライバーの問題でしょうか?)。
