私は Fedora Silverblue 39 を使用しており、rpm-ostreeをインストールしていましたtexlive-scheme-full。
コマンドラインから .tex ファイルをコンパイルしようとしましたpdflatexが、このエラーが返されます。

オンラインで検索して実行してみたところ、sudo fmtutil -sys --all次の結果が返されました。

ファイルはまだコンパイルされません。
再インストールしてみましたtexlive-scheme-fullが、やはり同じエラーが返されました。アンインストールしtexlive-scheme-fullてインストールしてみましたtexlive-scheme-basicが、やはりコンパイルできませんでした。rpm-ostreeインストール前にすべてのパッケージを自動的に更新するので、依存関係の問題は発生しないはずです。それでも、システムを更新し、再起動し、texlive をインストールして再度再起動しました。それでもコンパイルできません。
編集:fmtutil.cnfログに記録されたパスのいずれにも存在しません。

インストールtex-live後tug.org、LWP バンドルをインストールするように勧められました。Fedora Silverblue には、perl 自体以外には perl パッケージがないことがわかりました。perl の基本と LWP をインストールすると、問題なくコンパイルできました。その後も問題なく動作しましたが、 tex コマンドを見つけるためにfmtutil-sysいろいろといじる必要がありました。sudo
