しかし、CSF/LFD をインストールしても何も表示されません。LFD は lfd.log を作成しませんし、ファイアウォールからのブロックも /var/log/messages に記録されません。これは不自然です。

klogd を探しましたが、有効になっているかどうかを確認するには間違った場所を探しているのかもしれません。

ls /etc/init.d/syslog
ls: cannot access /etc/init.d/syslog: No such file or directory

syslog がないことに気付きましたか?

また、次のことにも気づきました:
