LVM または resize2fs のいずれを使用しても oVirt VM ディスクを新しいサイズに拡張できません

私は VM を備えた oVirt サーバーを持っています。VM は 20 GB のディスクで作成されましたが、すぐに容量が不足したため、さらに 20 GB を追加し、ディスクを拡張しようとしています。

以前、古い VM でこれを一度実行し、次のコマンドを実行しました。

$ sudo lvm
lvm> lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv
  Size of logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv changed from 4.00 GiB (1024 extents) to <49.00 GiB (12543 extents).
  Logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv successfully resized.
lvm> exit
  Exiting.



$ sudo lvm
lvm> lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv
  Size of logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv changed from 4.00 GiB (1024 extents) to <49.00 GiB (12543 extents).
  Logical volume ubuntu-vg/ubuntu-lv successfully resized.
lvm> exit
  Exiting.
$ sudo resize2fs /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv

ディスクは拡張されましたが、何らかの理由で新しい VM ではこれらのコマンドが機能せず、次の出力が表示されます。

$ sudo lvm

$ sudo resize2fs /dev/mapper/ubuntu--vg-ubuntu--lv

The filesystem is already 4979712 (4k) blocks long.  Nothing to do!

調べてみると、fdisk -l次のことがわかりました。

ディスクパーティションはまだ拡張されていません。これは初めステップがあり、何らかの理由でそれをスキップしようとしています (別の必須ステップもスキップしようとしています)。

ツールを使用してgrowpartパーティションを拡張する安全にブロック デバイスとパーティション番号を別々の引数として受け取ることに注意してください。

sudo growpart /dev/sda 3

まだインストールされていない場合はインストールしてください。

それが完了したら、PV のサイズ変更、次に LV のサイズ変更に進むことができます。

sudo pvresize /dev/sda3
