8888 ポートがなぜ自動的に開いた状態から閉じた状態になるのかを理解しようとしています...

管理者として実行する次のコマンドでポートを開くと思います:

netsh http add urlacl url=http://127.0.0.1:8888/ user="outputof:whoami"

しかし、イベント ログ > Windows レジスタ > システム次の行を見つけました:
