さて、私はこれまで 6 日間 (前回の試みでは 2 週間以上) この問題に全力で取り組んできました。

私の問題は、ラップトップに外部モニターを接続して Linux Mint をセットアップすることです。

ネットで見つけられるあらゆる提案を試してみましたが、うまくいきませんでした。そして、試して失敗したので、ノートパソコンを壊すつもりです。

すでに試したこと

  • /etc/X11/xorg.conf を何度も編集しましたが、X が起動しないことがあったため、tty ターミナルから変更を元に戻して再起動する必要がありました。現在の xorg.conf は次のとおりです。

そして、私はさらに多くの提案を見つけました。実際、覚えていたとしても、ここですべてをリストできないほど多くのことを試しました。

Mate Monitor の設定では外部モニターが認識されません (当然です)。

Arandr は、あたかも「デフォルト」モニターのみがあるかのように動作します。

私のシステムは両方の画面に表示されていますがない別々に、つまり両方のモニターで同じなので、モニターは機能し、VGA アダプターは機能し、グラフィック カードは両方に出力できますが、適切なデュアル モニター設定としてではありません。

~/.config/monitors.xml の正確な用途を知っている人はいますか?
