12.04 で ExFAT を動作させる方法

ExFAT に関連するいくつかの質問を読みましたが、12.04 では次のことが推奨されています。

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:relan/exfat
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install fuse-exfat exfat-utils
