Fingerabdruck antippen, nicht wischen

Gibt es die Möglichkeit, den Fingerabdruck per Fingertipp zu verwenden? Ich möchte wirklich keinen Fingerabdruckscanner per Wischgeste. Mein Laptop hat einen Schnellscanner (Mi Notebook Pro), unter Windows funktioniert er sofort und ziemlich gut, wie auf Smartphones, aber unter Ubuntu ist es fast immer einfacher, ein Passwort einzugeben, als den Fingerabdruck zu verwenden (ich habe übrigens ein langes Passwort).

PS: Gibt es im Jahr 2019 noch Wischfingerabdruckscanner? Ich habe die noch nie gesehen.
