Ich verwende derzeit Ubuntu 14.04 mit einer GTX 780m GPU auf meinem Laptop und verwende Nvidia-331-Treiber mit Bumblebee.
Ich konnte die Helligkeit meines Bildschirms nicht regeln, aber dann beschloss ich, einige Tipps aus dem Internet zu befolgen und fügte der Datei die folgenden Zeilen hinzu/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf:

Danach konnte ich die Helligkeit regeln, alles prima. Das Problem ist, dass Bumblebee danach nicht mehr funktioniert. Wenn ich beispielsweise versuche, Steam mit primusrun zu öffnen, wird diese Meldung angezeigt:
