Ich verwende Kubuntu 15.04. Plötzlich (ohne ein Upgrade durchzuführen) startet mein Plasma nicht mehr, wenn ich mich anmelde. Ich bin auf dem Desktop und habe meine Anwendungen geöffnet, aber keine Bedienfelder, kein Menü, keinen Hintergrund.
sudo plasmashell funktioniert (aber als Root), nicht als normaler Benutzer. Ich werde jetzt versuchen, ein Upgrade durchzuführen, aber ich bin etwas besorgt, dass ich das zuerst beheben sollte. Vielleicht sollte ich ein bestimmtes Protokoll überprüfen?
Könnte dies ein Berechtigungsproblem sein? Ich habe Dolphin als Root verwendet, um die Schreibberechtigungen eines Backup-Problems zu lösen. Vielleicht war das keine gute Idee.

Ich habe einen neuen Benutzer erstellt. Plasma funktioniert für diesen Benutzer perfekt. Es ist ein bisschen nervig, alle meine Desktop-Einstellungen erneut vornehmen zu müssen, aber ok ... ich vermute, es war dann ein Berechtigungsproblem? Keine Ahnung ...

Definitiv ein Berechtigungsproblem. Ich habe es geschafft, den Benutzermanager zu öffnen (sudo plasmashell in der Konsole, die zufällig geöffnet war (Gott sei Dank) und die Systemeinstellungen). Das Erstellen eines neuen Benutzers (und die Anmeldung mit diesem Benutzer) schien das Problem gelöst zu haben.
Danach war ich dumm genug, sudo chown -R me /home/me auszuführen, und das hat es wieder durcheinander gebracht! Nach 10 Jahren Linux-Nutzung hätte ich das wissen müssen. Die versteckten Dateiberechtigungen sind wichtig ...
