Ich habe Ubuntu 14.04 x64 und eineBenQ EW2440Lals Zweitmonitor.
Das Problem, auf das ich stoße, ist die Tatsache, dass die Anzeige auf dem zweiten Bildschirm sehr langsam ist und daher kaum verwendet werden kann.
Ich habe es mit Compiz versucht und es auch manuell wie xrandrfolgt eingerichtet:
xrandr -s 1920x1080 -r 50
aber ich verstehe Size 1920x1080 not found in available modes.

Meine Grafikkarte ist auf jeden Fall an, da läuft glxinfo | grep renderinges direct rendering: Yes.
Nichts von dem, was ich online gefunden habe, hat geholfen. Entweder bin ich ganz nah dran, mache aber etwas falsch, oder ich habe ein ganz anderes Problem.
