Ich habe Ubuntu Mate 16.04 auf Virtual Box installiert. Bis zum letzten Softwareupdate hat alles funktioniert. Die Virtual Box-Maschine wurde unerwartet heruntergefahren und nach einem Neustart erhalte ich diese Grafik:
Ich erhalte außerdem den Ubuntu-Mate-Welcome-Fehler (nicht erkanntes Dateiformat PNG).
Wie kann ich das Problem lösen, ohne alles neu zu installieren?

Ich denke, die beste Lösung wäre die Neuinstallation aller MATE-Komponenten mit den folgenden Befehlen:

Bevor Sie Änderungen an der Software vornehmen, sollten Sie Ihre Einstellungen überprüfen. Welches „Darstellungs“-Design verwenden Sie derzeit?
Ich hatte dasselbe Problem und habe festgestellt, dass mein Ubuntu-Kumpel ein „benutzerdefiniertes“ Design ohne Symbole verwendet :)
Also hat bei mir „Menü“ > „Kontrollzentrum“ > „Darstellung“ > „Neues Design festlegen“ funktioniert.
