Ich habe kürzlich versucht, Tox zu installieren und hatte drei erfolglose Versuche. Schließlich hat es mit der folgenden Formel geklappt:

sudo apt-get install qtox
Leider gab es nach einiger Zeit Probleme mit Updates. Es kommt zu folgender Fehlermeldung:
"The repository may no longer be available or could not be contacted because of network problems. If available an older version of the failed index will be used. Otherwise the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection and ensure the repository address in the preferences is correct.

Ich bin relativ neu bei Linux, aber ich vermute, dass es einige Probleme mit tox, qtox-Resten, Installationsproblemen, unvollständiger Entfernung usw. gibt. Also habe ich Bleachbit und Stacer verwendet, um das System zu bereinigen, sowie apt-get purge und apt-get autoremove, aber ohne Ergebnis.
Ich frage mich also, ob es eine App gibt, die Erinnerungen an ein gelöschtes Programm löscht? Ein Deinstallationsprogramm oder Systemreiniger ähnlich wie CCleaner und Revo Uninstaller in Windows? Sind Stacer und Bleachbit die einzigen Wartungsprogramme oder gibt es etwas anderes, noch Besseres? Wie werde ich diesen Tox/Qtox-Müll los?

Ich habe zwei Tox-Dateien in var/lib/apt/lists gefunden. Nachdem ich sie gelöscht hatte, tauchte eine weitere auf. Also habe ich den Nautilus-Befehl gksudo verwendet, eine Suche durchgeführt und jede einzelne Tox- und Qtox-Datei aus dem System gelöscht. Eine rudimentäre Methode, aber sie hat funktioniert. Jetzt gibt es keine Update-Fehlermeldung mehr.
