Ich versuche, einen alten Asus EEE „a-la-RaspberryPi“ als kleine, einzelne Task-Einheit wiederzuverwenden. Da ich mit Fedora vertraut bin, habe ich Fedora 27 über VNC darauf installiert (das standardmäßige grafische Installationsprogramm ist zu groß für den EEE-Bildschirm), aber ich habe keine Desktop-Umgebung installiert (ich brauche sie nicht, und selbst LXDE hätte mehr Speicherplatz benötigt als die gesamte Größe des EEE).
Während der Installation konnte ich mich drahtlos mit dem Internet verbinden(nachdem ich vom Installationsprogramm die SSID und das PWD für mein Heimnetzwerk konfiguriert habe).
Mit dem installierten System bin ich jedoch nicht:

Es plugin missingist in der Konsole leuchtend rot, aber ich konnte bei Google oder DNF nicht herausfinden, was das sein soll … ath5kscheint ein aktiviertes Modul in meinem Kernel zu sein, und ich konnte in den Repos kein „Plugin“-Paket für nmcli finden …
Verwirrend ist für mich auch folgendes:

Wahrscheinlich fehlt Ihnen das NetworkManager-wifiPaket.
# dnf install NetworkManager-wifi
Um die Änderungen anzuwenden, starten Sie neu NetworkManager.service:
# systemctl restart NetworkManager

Unter CentOS 7 ist der Paketmanager yum. Ersetzen Sie einfach dnfdurch yum:
$ sudo yum install NetworkManager-wifi
