Es stellte sich heraus, dass ArchLinux das usbhidModul nicht geladen hat. Nachdem ich es manuell geladen hatte, funktionierte die Maus einwandfrei. Seitdem habe ich die Modulliste in erweitert /etc/rc.conf.
Es sollte zwar usbhidautomatisch geladen werden, ohne dass ich es hinzufügen muss, aber solange die Maus funktioniert, stört es mich nicht.
