Im Rahmen eines aktuellen Windows-Updates wurde die lästige und aufdringliche Microsoft IntelliPoint-Maussoftware nun offenbar durch das noch lästigere und aufdringlichere „Microsoft Maus- und Tastatur-Center“ ersetzt.
Ich bin Linkshänder und muss die linke und rechte Maustaste vertauschen. Die entsprechende Option ist aus der Maus-Systemsteuerung verschwunden und wurde durch einen Link ersetzt, der das Maus- und Tastaturcenter öffnet. Dies ist wiederum ein Fenster, in dem ich Einstellungen an der Tastatur ändern kann, aber keine Möglichkeit habe, die Mauseinstellungen zu steuern.
Alle Hinweise sind willkommen. Das macht mich verrückt.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich Ihre Maus auf der Microsoft-Kompatibilitätsliste für Maus- und Tastaturcenter:
Einige ältere Microsoft-Geräte werden im Microsoft Maus- und Tastatur-Center nicht mehr unterstützt; sie werden jedoch weiterhin von der Software IntelliPoint 8.2/IntelliType Pro 8.2 unterstützt.
Wenn Sie die Software „Maus- und Tastaturcenter“ installiert haben und Ihr Gerät nicht finden und konfigurieren können, überprüfen Sie die folgenden Gerätelisten, um zu bestätigen, welche Software Ihr Gerät unterstützt. Der Name Ihres Geräts wird auf der Unterseite angezeigt.
Wenn Ihr Gerät von der Software „Mouse and Keyboard Center“ nicht unterstützt wird, deinstallieren Sie es über die Systemsteuerung und installieren Sie die Software „IntelliPoint/IntelliType Pro“ anschließend erneut.
