Wie starte ich icewm?

Ich habe icewm1.2.13 installiert. Metacityist mein Standard-Fenstermanager. Normalerweise --replacewird zum Ersetzen des Fenstermanagers die Option verwendet, z. B. metacity --replace. Aber meine Version von icewmhat diese Option nicht. :

# icewm --help
IceWM: using /root/.icewm for private configuration files
Usage: icewm [OPTIONS]
Starts the IceWM window manager.

Options:
  --display=NAME      NAME of the X server to use.
  --client-id=ID      Client id to use when contacting session manager.

Beim Startversuch icewmerhalte ich folgende Meldung:

# icewm

Wie man anfängt icewm?

(Ich verwende Centos 6.5)

Die Option „Starten mit --replace“ führt zum gleichen Ergebnis:

# icewm --replace

Ich habe eine Lösung gefunden, aber sie ist unbequem. Ich habe das System runlevelauf 3 geändert. Dadurch wird der grafische Modus deaktiviert. Wenn ich im Textmodus bin, gebe ich Folgendes ein:

# which icewm
/path
# xinit -e /path

xtermist zum Ausführen erforderlich.

Gibt es eine bessere Lösung? Ich möchte einfach den Fenstermanager ersetzen.

Ich kann nur sagen, dass dies icewm-sessiondie empfohlene Methode ist, um IceWM zu starten. Es ist auch noch in Arbeit... Bisher kann ich es mit starten $ startx icewm-session, aber meine globalen X-Einstellungen werden durch die IceWM-Standardeinstellungen überschrieben und standardmäßig wird ein virtuelles Terminal geöffnet, sobald die IceWM-Sitzung beendet ist. Um die Sitzung zu schließen, muss ich in diesem Terminal Strg+C drücken, sonst bleibt es...
