„DoS-Angriff: Smurf“ in Router-Protokollen – muss ich mir Sorgen machen?

Hier ist das gefilterte 2-Tage-Protokoll von meinem Netgear 6300-Router. Es scheint, als ob ich ständig SMURF-Angriffen ausgesetzt bin.

Den Einstellungen meines Routers zufolge bin ich anscheinend geschützt. Ich habe „Port-Scan und DoS-Schutz deaktivieren“ nicht aktiviert.

Sollte ich besorgt sein?

In kleinen Mengen von einer Entität nehmen oder ihr etwas geben.

Um Methamphetamin herzustellen, lassen Drogenköche die „Schlümpfe“ täglich zwei Schachteln Advil Cold und Sinus kaufen, bis genug da ist.

Einen Server überlasten und zum Absturz bringen und somit jedem den Dienst „verweigern“, der sich aus einem legitimen Grund mit dem Server verbindet.

Jemand beansprucht ganz langsam Ihre gesamte Bandbreite und versucht, irgendetwas zum Absturz zu bringen. Betreiben Sie einen Webserver? Falls nicht, ist es durchaus möglich, dass Malware Ihren Computer im Rahmen einer Art Botnetz langsam zu DoS-Angriffen veranlasst.
