Lassen Sie mich zunächst vorwegnehmen, dass ich mit MATLAB und Linux noch ziemlich unerfahren bin. Vielleicht übersehe ich etwas Offensichtliches. Wenn dies der Fall ist, haben Sie bitte Geduld mit mir.
Ich wurde gebeten, bei einem Modellierungsprojekt in meiner Mathematikabteilung zu helfen. Ich habe also den gesamten Code heruntergeladen, Matlab auf meinem Computer installiert und nachdem ich einige Hürden überwunden hatte (ich musste eine Bibliothek namens „glu“ installieren), wurde das Skript tatsächlich ausgeführt. Es kommt zu einem Punkt, an dem ich glaube, es versucht, ein Diagramm zu rendern, woraufhin das System abstürzt. Ich kann mit Strg-Alt-F (irgendwas) nicht auf andere TTYs zugreifen und nach einer Weile bekomme ich oben rechts einen blinkenden Cursor und kann immer noch nichts tun. Strg-Alt-Entf, nichts. Also halte ich den Einschaltknopf gedrückt und fahre den Computer herunter.

An diesem Punkt bin ich ziemlich sicher, dass es ein Grafikproblem ist. Ich habe auch versucht, OpenGL-Software-Rendering zu verwenden. Der Projektleiter meinte, dass es ein Problem mit dem Kernel geben könnte, da dieser mein gesamtes System lahmlegt. An diesem Punkt möchte er, dass ich in eine andere Umgebung wechsle, damit wir einfach weitermachen können. Ich würde aber trotzdem gerne wissen, was hier mit Gentoo los ist.
Eine Sache, über die ich nachgedacht habe, war, dass ich kein DE habe, nur ein Tiling-WM (super 3.5), ich weiß nicht, ob das ein Problem verursachen würde, nur so ein Gedanke
