Nur die Hälfte des RAM ist sichtbar

Ich habe zwei Crucial RAM-Riegel, die ich in zwei Steckplätze gesteckt habe, die Dual-Channel-fähig sein sollen. Das BIOS erkennt beide, zeigt aber insgesamt nur die Hälfte an: Bildbeschreibung hier eingeben

CPU-Z zeigt 8GB RAM an, Windows 10 aber nur 4. Wenn ich die Sticks in den Single-Channel-Modus setze (Steckplätze A1/A2 zum Beispiel) werden alle 8GB von Windows erkannt.

Handelt es sich hier um einen Fehler auf der Hauptplatine und es lässt sich nichts dagegen tun?

Das Ändern der Frequenz hilft nicht. Ebenso das Einstecken der Sticks in andere Steckplätze: Bildbeschreibung hier eingeben

Es stellt sich heraus, dass die Steckplätze B1/B2 nicht richtig funktionieren. Wenn ich beide Sticks hineinstecke, bootet der Computer nicht. Es handelt sich also um einen Defekt am Motherboard oder an der CPU. Ich werde mir die CPU-Pins ansehen, wenn ich Zeit habe, vielleicht sind sie beschädigt.
