Diff auf den Inhalt einer Datei

ich versuche, einen Diff-Test für zwei Dateien durchzuführen und die Inhalte zu vergleichen. Wenn sie unterschiedlich sind, sende ich eine E-Mail. Unten ist mein Skript, das ich aus irgendeinem Grund nicht zum Laufen bekomme. Alle Vorschläge sind willkommen.
