Ich versuche, auf meinem Laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad mit Ubuntu 18.04) eine Verbindung zum Internet herzustellen, indem ich ihn über ein USB-Lightning-Kabel mit meinem Telefon (iPhone 6s) verbinde.

Vermutlich liegt der Fehler an der „Verbindung ist nicht bereit“? Ich frage mich, ob dies ein Firmware-/Treiberproblem ist und ob das Zurücksetzen eines Upgrades das Problem beheben könnte. Ich werde mal sehen, ob ich herausfinden kann, wie das geht. Ich kann eine Verbindung herstellen, indem ich das Telefon als drahtlosen Hotspot verwende, aber nicht über Bluetooth.

Es scheint, dass das apt install --reinstall <list-of-packages>Problem durch eine erneute Installation behoben wurde. Vermutlich bedeutet dies, dass die Installation irgendwie beschädigt war, obwohl ich immer noch nicht sicher bin, warum dies nicht irgendwie markiert wurde oder wie ich das anhand der Fehlermeldungen, die ich erhielt, herausfinden konnte. Aber auf jeden Fall ist das Problem jetzt behoben.
