Vielen Dank an alle, die mitgeholfen haben, ich habe es endlich zum Laufen gebracht. Meines Wissens nach war es ein Problem mit dem Threading des Originalskripts und der Befehl zur Videoerstellung wurde ausgeführt, als nur ein (oder wenige) Fotos aufgenommen worden waren. So habe ich die betroffene Funktion geändert. Danke!

Ursprüngliche Frage:

Ich versuche, mithilfe von ffmpeg eine Reihe von JPG-Standbildern in einem Python-Skript auf einem Raspberry Pi 3 B in ein MP4-Format zu kompilieren. Der Befehl, den ich auszuführen versuche, lautet wie folgt:

ffmpeg -r 24 -i /home/pi/pi-timelapse/series-2020-11-03_19-54-33/image%05d.jpg -c:v libx264 -vf fps=25 /home/pi/pi-timelapse/series-2020-11-03_19-54-33-timelapse.mp4

Wenn ich diesen Befehl von der Befehlszeile auf dem Pi (oder meinem Mac-Laptop) ausführe, funktioniert er einwandfrei und gibt eine ca. 8,6 MB große MP4-Datei aus.

Das Python-Skript, das diesen Befehl meiner Meinung nach aufruft, lautet wie folgt:

Wenn ich das ausführe, wird durchgehend eine ca. 200 KB große MP4-Datei ausgegeben, die sich nicht wirklich abspielen lässt (in VLC). Ich vermute, dass nur das erste Standbild erfasst wird und es sich um ein 1/24 Sekunde langes Einzelbild-„Video“ handelt. Ich führe das Skript aus dem Ordner „pi-timelapse“ aus und obwohl es mit dem vollständigen Pfad ausgeführt wird, kann ich nicht anders, als zu glauben, dass das Problem im Abschnitt %05 liegt, der alle Bilder aus dem Unterordner abrufen soll, relativ zum cwd des Skripts.

Mit dem folgenden Befehl gelang es mir auf einem RPi 2B mit python3

ffmpeg konnte meine Dateien nicht finden, als ich das Muster „%03d“ ausprobierte, obwohl eine Datei wie „20160205_1730430.JPG“ existierte. Aber diese Fehler wurden gemeldet – in Rot – und nicht versteckt.

Ich konnte den Film nicht in meinem Browser ansehen, aber mplayer hatte keine Probleme und meldete:
