Zentrieren eines mehrzeiligen Teiletitels im Inhaltsverzeichnis

Ich bin ratlos. Wie kann ich einen mehrzeiligen Teiltitel im Inhaltsverzeichnis zentrieren?

Idealerweise hätte ich gerne folgendes Inhaltsverzeichnis:

Es tut mir leid, falls dies schon einmal gefragt wurde, aber ich habe Stunden damit verbracht, vergeblich eine Lösung zusammenzubasteln.

Meiner Meinung nach \@partist die Verwendung eines Patches einfacher als die Verwendung von tocloftBefehlen hier.
