Das neueste MiKTeX-Update erfordert nach der Installation einen zusätzlichen Konfigurationsschritt. Auf der Website heißt es nun, dass Benutzer diesen ausführen müssen, miktexsetup finishum die Installation tatsächlich abzuschließen. Wenn ich diesen Befehl jetzt ausführe, erhalte ich die folgende Fehlermeldung:

Auf meinem Computer hat es mit der vorherigen Version einwandfrei funktioniert. Wie kann ich das beheben?

Nun, zumindest bis sie es endlich schaffen, diese letzte Version zu reparieren, habe ich eine Teillösung gefunden:
Ich habe Miktex entfernt, die .deb-Datei heruntergeladen (http://ctan.mirrors.hoobly.com/systems/win32/miktex/setup/deb/pool/universe/m/miktex/miktex-2.9.6530-1-linux-x86_64.deb) für die vorherige Version (2.9.6530) und dpkg -ies. Und das funktioniert!
Ich werde die Zeile, die miktext entspricht, in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/miktex.list auskommentieren, um zu verhindern, dass sie für eine Weile aktualisiert wird ...
