Auf einem Fedora 39-System erhalte ich die folgende Fehlermeldung:
kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 1+0/600 --dpi 600 eurm10
mktexpk: don't know how to create bitmap font for eurm10.
mktexpk: perhaps eurm10 is missing from the map file.
kpathsea: Appending font creation commands to missfont.log.

Ich habe mich umgesehen und bin auf einen Beitrag aus dem Jahr 2020 in den Arch-Foren gestoßen, in dem steht, dass ich möglicherweise brauche texlive-most, dies ist jedoch unter Fedora 39 nicht verfügbar. Es texlive-amsfontsist jedoch verfügbar und bietet
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/afm/public/amsfonts/euler/eurm10.afm
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/tfm/public/amsfonts/euler/eurm10.tfm
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/type1/public/amsfonts/euler/eurm10.pfb
/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/fonts/type1/public/amsfonts/euler/eurm10.pfm
Ich verstehe nicht ganz, wie ich diesen Fehler umgehen kann. Ich habe Folgendes versucht: TeX: mktexpk: weiß nicht, wie man eine Bitmap-Schriftart erstellt
$ sudo texhash

und dem Vorschlag von @UlrikeFischer folgend:

/usr/share/texlive/texmf-dist/web2c/updmap.cfg

updmap: updating ls-R files.
Dann habe ich mir diese Datei angesehen:
$ grep eurm10 /usr/share/texlive/texmf-config/web2c/updmap.cfg
#! Map eurm10.map
#! Map eurm10
Es scheint, dass dies auskommentiert ist. Vielleicht ist das das Problem. Warum ist es auskommentiert?
Das Aufheben der Kommentierung führt jedoch zu einem ähnlichen, aber leicht anderen Fehler:

Die Schriftart kann jedoch immer noch nicht gefunden werden.
Ich habe es mit folgendem hello.texBeispiel versucht:
