Ich hatte meine Schlüssel so eingerichtet, dass ich per SSH zwischen Maschinen wechseln kann, ohne ein Passwort eingeben zu müssen, und eine Zeit lang hat alles funktioniert, aber dann werde ich auf einigen Maschinen plötzlich nach einem Passwort gefragt. Ich habe die Schlüssel überprüft – alles scheint in Ordnung zu sein. Ich habe ssh -v ausgeführt und hier ist die Ausgabe. Soweit ich das beurteilen kann, wird der Schlüssel erfolgreich überprüft, warum werde ich also aufgefordert, ein Passwort einzugeben???

Übrigens sehe ich keine Meldung, dass der Server die Authentifizierung akzeptiert hat:

~/.ssh/ hat Modus 700, ich habe versucht, ssh-copy-id auszuführen, und das scheint funktioniert zu haben. Nur um sicherzugehen, habe ich md5sum auf id_rsa.pub auf beiden Maschinen ausgeführt, und sie sind gleich. Außerdem stimmt die Prüfsumme der autorisierten Schlüssel auf der Zielmaschine mit der Prüfsumme des öffentlichen Schlüssels überein (da dies der einzige Schlüssel unter den autorisierten Schlüsseln ist).

Es stellt sich heraus, dass nicht nur .ssh-, sondern auch $HOME-Berechtigungen wichtig sind! Für $HOME dürfen die Berechtigungen nicht höher als 751 eingestellt sein.
