- die meisten unserer Server einschließlich DHCP, DNS, Fileserver (SMB), VoIP-Server, Exchange-Server
- 55 Kunden/Benutzer
- Richtfunkrelais A (Lightpointe AireLink 60 SX) - 1 Gbit/s
Standort B:
- ein Dateiserver (smb)
- 30 Kunden/Benutzer
- Richtfunkrelais B (Lightpointe AireLink 60 SX) – 1 Gbit/s
Die Distanz zwischen den Standorten A und B beträgt 177 Meter. Beide Standorte teilen sich ein Subnetz: 192.168.0.0/24 für Clients und Server, VoIP-Telefone befinden sich im Subnetz 10.6.3.0/24 (ebenfalls von beiden Standorten gemeinsam genutzt). Es gibt also kein Routing zwischen den beiden Standorten und die Funkverbindung fungiert als Brücke.

Am Standort B treten folgende Probleme auf:
- VoIP-Audiounterbrechungen (meistens nur in eine Richtung für jeweils ca. 3 Sekunden)
- Der SMB-Durchsatz sinkt manchmal auf 5 Mbit/s oder sogar noch weniger
- ausgehende E-Mails (Exchange-Server) sind manchmal sehr langsam
- langsame Internetverbindung
Die Dateiübertragungsrate sinkt auf Null und die Dateiübertragung wird mit 0x8007003B abgebrochen (Standort A->B):
etwas zusammenfassen:es scheint, als ob etwas einen massiven Durchsatzabfall verursacht, aber wir wissen nicht, was hier passiert. Wir haben zwei „Man-in-the-Middle“-Server mit jeweils zwei überbrückten Ethernet-Ports installiert, um an beiden Standorten zwischen dem Funkverbindungsdatenport und dem Switch-Port, der ihn mit dem lokalen Netzwerk verbindet, einige Daten zu ntopng

Es gibt keine Probleme beim Zugriff auf Server von Standort A von einem Client von Standort A und beim Zugriff auf Server von Standort B von Clients von Standort B.
