Die Geschichte geht also so: Ich habe eine Reihe virtueller CentOS 6.9-Maschinen, die per VHD-Upload in die Azure-Cloud von Microsoft migriert wurden. Nach der Bereitstellung stellte ich fest, dass Azure es nicht erlaubt, E-Mails direkt von der VM aus zu versenden – ich muss ein externes Relay verwenden. Microsoft scheint Sendgrid vorzuschlagen, und sie haben eine kostenlose Stufe, also habe ich mich angemeldet, Postfix gemäß ihren Anweisungen konfiguriert (siehe unten) und … nichts. Ich kann Postfix nicht dazu bringen, sich beim Relay-SMTP-Server oder einem anderen externen Relay zu authentifizieren, wie meinem eigenen Server bei gzo.com (exim auf cPanel) oder aruba.it (einem italienischen Hosting-Anbieter).
Ich habe mit all diesen Relays mehrere Versuche auf den Ports 587, 2525 und 465 unternommen, jedes Mal die SASL-Passwortdatei per Postmap-Ping aufgerufen und Postfix neu gestartet. Alle Versuche schlugen mit der folgenden Fehlermeldung fehl:

Die Benutzeranmeldeinformationen sind korrekt: Ich habe es tatsächlich geschafft, von der Linux-Shell aus über Telnet eine Verbindung zu allen drei Servern herzustellen, eine SMTP-Sitzung zu öffnen, mich sowohl über AUTH PLAIN als auch über AUTH LOGIN erfolgreich zu authentifizieren und mir selbst manuell eine Testnachricht zu senden. Nur Postfix kann das nicht.
Noch rätselhafter: Ich habe genau dieselbe Konfiguration auf die ursprünglichen virtuellen Maschinen kopiert, von denen die VMs in der Cloud geklont wurden (internes Hyper-V vor Ort), und sie verbinden sich und senden E-Mails über dieselben Server ohne Fehler. Die Maschinen in Azure sind bis auf die für den Betrieb in Azure erforderlichen Änderungen identisch mit denen vor Ort.wie von Microsoft aufgeführt.
Ich habe beim Googeln Dutzende von Vorschlägen gefunden und sie alle ohne Erfolg ausprobiert. Mir gehen die Ideen (und die Zeit) aus. Bitte geben Sie mir einen Vorschlag: Wo sollte ich sonst noch suchen? Was könnte ich sonst noch versuchen?

Ich hatte das gleiche Problem mit Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Version 6.9 (Santiago). Das Problem hing mit einer fehlenden RPM-Bibliothek zusammen (cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.23-15.el6_6.2.x86_64), nach der Installation habe ich das Problem behoben.
Bitte überprüfen Sie, ob alle folgenden RPMs korrekt in Ihrem System installiert sind, um weitere Probleme mit der SASL-Authentifizierung zu vermeiden:
