Der Server ist eine Mischung aus Apache, Nginx, Redis und Mariadb.
Die /var-Partition ist für die Datenbank reserviert und liegt in der Nähe des Festplattenzentrums:

Derzeit steigt die InnoDB-Datengröße von 3 auf 4 GB.
Ich rechne damit, bald weitere ~8 GB InnoDB-Daten, 2-3 GB MyISAM und ~<2 GB Aria-Daten hinzuzufügen. Es scheint, dass die Datenbank nach dem Upgrade von Mariadb 10.2 auf 10.3 immer mehr CPU-Leistung verbraucht, einige DB-Antworten dauern bis zu 4-5 Sekunden. Das langsame DB-Protokoll erfasst im Moment nichts.
Ich möchte mein System für die Zukunft vorbereiten, ohne SSD oder zusätzlichen Speicher hinzuzufügen. Es gibt einen Redis-Dienst, aber ich kann nicht 100 % der Datenbankabfragen zwischenspeichern. Redis verarbeitet bereits ~550 Anfragen/Sek.
Ich denke darüber nach, den Wert für innodb_page_size zu ändern (innodb_page_size hat jetzt die Standardoption 16 KB). Ist das möglich, ohne Daten zu exportieren und wieder zu importieren? Lohnt es sich? Ist das eine bessere Option für mein System? Gibt es Empfehlungen für ein System-Reset ohne Hardwareänderungen? Liegt die Verlangsamung an 90 % der /home-Partition? Muss der Festplattenkopf für Webdateien zur Endfestplatte gehen und zum Anfang zurückkehren? Kann die Blockgröße der RAID-Festplatte von 64 KB erhöht/verringert werden?
