Ich habe einen Dell Inspiron 1525-Laptop mit Broadcomm Wireless.
Nach der Installation von Ubuntu 13.10 wurde weder WLAN noch Bluetooth erkannt. Nach einer Überprüfung in den Foren konnte ich das WLAN-Problem beheben. Jetzt leuchtet die WLAN-Leuchte und ich kann eine Verbindung zu meinem WLAN-Router herstellen. Durchgeführte Schritte: 1. Synaptic installiert. 2. Paket bcmwl-kernel-source deinstalliert (ich hatte es zuvor neu installiert, aber mein WLAN funktionierte nicht, also habe ich diesen und den nächsten Schritt ausprobiert) 3. Firmware-b43-Installer und b43cutter installiert. 4. Neustart und das WLAN funktionierte. Aber die Bluetooth-Leuchte leuchtet nicht und wird auch in rfkill nicht erkannt

Beim Überprüfen des Bluetooth-Symbols in den Systemeinstellungen wird „Treiber nicht installiert“ angezeigt.

Problem gelöst.
Ich habe einen Dual-Boot mit Windows 7. Habe in den Foren nachgeschaut und fand den Vorschlag, die Bluetooth-Treiber neu zu installieren. Bin auf die Website von Broadcom gegangen und habe die neuesten Bluetooth-Treiber installiert.
Damit die Treiber wirksam werden, muss Windows 7 neu gestartet werden.
Nochmals in Ubuntu eingecheckt und voilà! Bluetooth funktioniert wieder.
Der Windows-Treiber enthielt möglicherweise Firmware-Upgrades/Patches, die das Problem behoben haben.
