Ich habe gerade einen Laptop auf Ubuntu 16.04 aktualisiert und jetzt sehe ich das folgende Problem. In zufälligen Momenten (aber wenn eine Grafikaktivität stattfindet, wie z. B. das Öffnen eines Fensters) wird die Anzeige verzerrt und der Computer friert ein. Das Einzige, was man tun kann, ist, ihn zwangsweise auszuschalten; dabei gehen natürlich alle eventuell vorhandenen Kernel-Protokolleinträge verloren.
Was kann ich dagegen tun? dmesg (nach einem Bootvorgang) listet einige ominös aussehende Stacktraces im Zusammenhang mit Grafiken auf:

Neuinstallation der X-Treiber, wie in16.04 - So löschen Sie Intel-Standardtreiber und installieren Intel-Grafiktreiber neuhat nicht geholfen. Unter früheren Ubuntu-Versionen gab es dieses Problem nicht, obwohl einige 3D-Operationen (wie der rotierende Desktop-Würfel) die perspektivischen Transformationen nicht ganz richtig durchführten.
