Ich verwende einen Lenovo T14 Gen 1 AMD mit Ubuntu 20.04 und 5.8.0-rc7-Kernel, AMD-Treiber 20.20 ist installiert. Mein Ziel ist es, 2 Displays mit dem Lenovo Thunderbolt3-Dock zu betreiben (habe es gestern mit einem Windows-Computer aktualisiert), das an den TB3-Port des Laptops angeschlossen ist. Die Displays, die ich verwende, sind Dell 27" und Dell 34", beide über DP verbunden.
Momentan müssen beide Displays angeschlossen sein, damit das 34-Zoll-Display in voller Auflösung läuft, sonst funktioniert es nur mit 2560 x 1440. Beim Versuch, das 27-Zoll-Display zu aktivieren, erhalte ich im Syslog die folgende Fehlermeldung:

Wie kann ich die Fehler beseitigen und dieses Setup zum Laufen bringen?

Die AMD-Version hat kein Thunderbolt und funktioniert daher nicht mit der TB3-Dockingstation.

Ich habe das Problem gelöst, indem ich zum Anschließen meines externen Monitors ein HDMI-Kabel anstelle eines USB-C-zu-HDMI-Konverters verwendet habe. Ich werde mir wahrscheinlich einen HDMI-Splitter kaufen und hoffe, dass beide meiner externen Monitore über den HDMI-Ausgang des Laptops funktionieren.

Ich verwende ein Plugable Thunderbolt 3 / USB-C-Dock zusammen mit einem Sabrent USB-C Dual-HDMI-Adapter. Ich habe Tastatur, Maus usw. sowie einen einzelnen Monitor an das Dock angeschlossen. Wenn ich USB-C statt Thunderbolt auf dem Dock verwende, können zwei 1080p-Monitore oder ein einzelner 4K-Monitor unterstützt werden, auf TB3 werden beide unterstützt. Das Merkwürdige, auf das ich stoße und das ich nicht lösen kann, ist, dass der Monitor nicht mit der Tastatur, der Maus usw. aufwacht. Ich muss die USB-C-Verbindung trennen und wieder anschließen. Ich habe mich für einen magnetischen USB-C-Anschluss entschieden, damit ich das ganz einfach machen kann. Der USB-C-Dongle von Sabrent funktioniert aus dem Ruhezustand. Ich habe beide Monitore angeschlossen und konnte AMD FreeSync (von dem ich nicht sicher bin, ob es genau das ist) auf meinem Bildschirm anzeigen, da die Monitore das unterstützen.
