Icedtea-Plugin kann nicht installiert werden

Ich habe ein normales Update durchgeführt (Ubuntu 10.10, 64 Bit) und das Softwareupdate ist fehlgeschlagen. Das Softwarecenter gibt den Fehler „Elemente können nicht installiert werden ... Möchten Sie reparieren?“ aus. Ich drücke die Schaltfläche „Reparieren“ und dann erscheint der Fehler „Paketvorgang fehlgeschlagen“.

Ich habe im Internet gesucht und ein paar Dinge gefunden, die ich ausprobieren kann:

**sudo apt-get install -f**

<priority> is an integer; options with higher numbers are chosen.

Ich sehe, dass eine Abhängigkeit von OpenJDK unterbrochen ist, bin mir aber nicht sicher, was ich als Nächstes tun soll, um das Problem tatsächlich zu beheben. Ich muss andere Software auf meinem Computer installieren und das hält mich zurück.

Irgendwelche Ideen?

Irgendwie habe ich das vor ein paar Tagen gelöst, aber es war unklar, wie ich das gemacht habe. Jedenfalls ist das Problem heute beim Upgrade erneut aufgetreten. Ich habe eine Seite auf Japanisch gefunden, die die Antwort zeigte:

$ which update-alternatives
/usr/bin/update-alternatives
$ sudo which update-alternatives
/usr/local/bin/update-alternatives
$ sudo mv /usr/local/bin/update-alternatives /usr/local/bin/update-alternatives.old
$ sudo apt-get upgrade
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
2 not fully installed or removed.
After this operation, 0B of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]? y

Flash Plugin installed.

Kurz gesagt: Es gab zwei verschiedene Update-Alternativen und ich musste nur sicherstellen, dass die „richtige“ ausgeführt wurde.
