Ich habe vor Kurzem Ubuntu 14.04 neu installiert und kann den Computer weder über die obere Leiste noch über die Befehlszeile herunterfahren.
Ich habe viele online vorgeschlagene Lösungen ausprobiert, wie zum Beispiel die Aktualisierung in /etc/default/grubder folgenden Zeile
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
Ich habe es mit quiet splash acpi=force, quiet splash acpi=off, quiet splash reboot=bios, und sogar mit versucht GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="".
Ich habe es nicht cairo-dockauf meinem Computer installiert; ich verwende keinen proprietären Treiber, sondern den von Xorg Nouveau.
Die einzige Möglichkeit den Computer herunterzufahren ist das Drücken des Netzschalters.
