Soy nuevo en Linux. Instalé Ubuntu14.04 hace unos días. Cada vez que instalé algún programa en el Centro de software de Ubuntu, me muestra un mensaje como Package operation failed:The installation or removal of a software package failed.
¿Qué significa?
¿Significa que el software no se instaló correctamente?
El error que se muestra en la parte Detalles se muestra a continuación:

Significa que necesitas configurar tu ubicación.
sudo locale-gen en_IN en_IN.UTF-8
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Para solucionar el problema de DKMS (advertencia: esto eliminará la configuración del módem hspa):
sudo apt-get purge hspa-modem-dkms
sudo apt-get install hspa-modem-dkms
Por supuesto, si instaló hspa-modem-dkms con dpkg, continúe e instálelo de la misma manera que lo hizo antes.
