Encontré una solución.
Debes buscar un .hexarchivo de una instalación de Windows, yo encontré el mío en C:\Windows\System32\drivers\BCM43142A0_001.001.011.0197.0231.hex; encuentra el que comienza conBCM43142A0.
Luego necesitas convertirlo al formato hcd. Puede encontrar la herramienta enhttps://github.com/jessesung/hex2hcd.
git clone git://github.com/jessesung/hex2hcd.git
cd hex2hcd
make
hex2hcd <input_file>.hex fw-xxxx_yyyy.hcd
En su lugar, fw-xxxx_yyyy.hcddeberías usar BCM43142A0-0a5c-21d7.hcd.
Luego copie el archivo hcd generado en /lib/firmware/brcm/ y reinicie.
Eso debería solucionar el problema.
