Estoy intentando instalar pymedia en ubuntu para ejecutar scripts usando Python 2.7. Entonces, localicé las dependencias y las instalé:
sudo apt-get install python-dev libogg-dev libvorbis-dev liblame-dev libfaad2-dev libasound2-dev python-pygame libmp3lame-dev libevent-dev
Entonces, cuando terminé de instalar lo anterior, durante el siguiente paso que era construir pymedia, obtuve lo siguiente:

Como se puede ver en las impresiones, los paquetes (a pesar de haberse instalado correctamente) se mencionan como "no encontrados". Y el resultado final del error me parece un error de gcc. Sería de gran ayuda si alguien pudiera señalar qué podría estar fallando aquí.

Mucha, mucha gente tiene este problema; lo más probable es que se deba a un script incorrecto.
Aparentemente, las bibliotecas compartidas de 64 bits deben compilarse con la -fPICbandera y sound.cpp no lo está en este caso.
Hay setup.pyuna función llamada disable_fPIC(): puede desactivar la función simplemente reemplazando todo el código que le pertenece con una declaración pass.Entonces:
