Cuando esté en modo de descarga. Intente usarlo fastboot devicesy vea si reconoce su dispositivo.

¿Has configurado correctamente las reglas de Android en tu carpeta udev? En el modo de descarga o fastboot, adb no reconocerá su dispositivo. No es para eso. Fastboot sólo podrá hacerlo.
