Sin solicitud de contraseña - SSH

Tengo una nueva configuración del servidor Ubuntu en Linode. Estoy intentando deshabilitar los inicios de sesión con contraseña y lo logré para rootlos usuarios, pero no pude hacerlo para un nuevo usuario (lrehan) creado por mí.

rootno se puede iniciar sesión mediante contraseña/clave ssh. lrehanse puede iniciar sesión sin contraseña o sin proporcionar la clave ssh (ya que no se solicita contraseña)

root login

  1. ssh root@ip - FALLADO - RESULTADOS ESPERADOS
  2. ssh -i ~./ssh/linode root@ip - FALLADO - RESULTADOS ESPERADOS

lrehan login

  1. ssh lrehan@ip - INICIA SESIÓN (SIN SOLICITUD DE CONTRASEÑA) - NO SE ESPERA
  2. ssh -i ~./ssh/linode lrehan@ip - INICIA SESIÓN - RESULTADOS ESPERADOS

Lo resolví usando esta respuestahttps://askubuntu.com/a/1440509/1713168

Dentro del directorio /etc/ssh/sshd_config.d/ solo hay un archivo .conf (50-cloud-init.conf), pero dentro contiene la línea: PasswordAuthentication yes

Cambié la línea a #PasswordAuthentication no

y reinicié el ssh. Ahora está funcionando. Solo puedo acceder con la clave ssh.
