He estado compilando mis propios kernels y encontré un error con el kernel 6.3:

kbuild: usa git-archive para la creación del paquete fuente. La confirmación 5c3d1d0 ("kbuild: agrega una herramienta para enumerar los archivos ignorados por git") agregó una nueva herramienta, scripts/list-gitignored. Mi intención era crear paquetes fuente sin limpiar el árbol fuente, sin depender de git.

Linus se opuso firmemente y sugirió usar 'git archive' en su lugar. [1] [2] [3]

Esta confirmación va en esa dirección: elimina scripts/list-gitignored.c y reescribe archivos Makefiles y scripts para usar 'archivo git' para crear paquetes fuente de Debian y RPM. También hace que 'make perf-tar*-src-pkg' use 'git archive' nuevamente.

En el futuro, la creación de paquetes fuente solo será posible en un árbol administrado por git. La creación de paquetes binarios no requiere git.

Entonces, de acuerdo con la confirmación anterior, simplemente use "make bindeb-pkg" o si desea compilar src pkg usando "make deb-pkg" como antes (anterior a 6.3), entonces debe extraer el árbol de fuentes del kernel.

Lo mismo para mí, por razones desconocidas, el comando 'make deb-pkg' no funciona (funcionó durante años sin problemas), el comando sugerido 'make bindeb-pkg' funcionó. Esto sólo para la versión del kernel 6.3.
